Routes to Work

Routes to Work has now completed. This project was managed by Hertfordshire Training & Development Consortium and funded by the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) via Hertfordshire County Council’s Economic Participation Programme. Targeted at one of Hertfordshire’s key economic priorities – reducing the number of people on out of work benefits – the project was to help individuals who are unemployed or at risk of redundancy to get a job or with their skills development. Over 700 people resident across all districts of Hertfordshire to benefited from programmes of advice, training, coaching and volunteering or work experience. Thanks to the hard work of our team of partner organisations, our outputs were 36% ahead of the original target. The full report on the project will be available soon.

These services were delivered between June 2009 – March 2010 by 12 partner organisations.
